Renewing the fire of the HOLY SPIRIT in the Catholic Church
River of Grace prayer group was born from prophetic word given by the Lord during private prayer; and confirmed by 2 individuals on two separate occasions, not knowing anything about what the Lord was calling the leader to do. This group is designed to help people learn, grow, develop, and practice their spirit filled, charismatic gifts given to them at Baptism. The group begins with praise and worship. It continues with quiet time listening to the Lord, and sharing what the Lord is telling the group. Most evenings include a teaching, activation, and/or direct prayer with the participants. We often have time for intercessory prayer as well. The group is open to all no matter what part of their spirit filled journey they are on. Pope Francis- ‘I expect this movement: to do these three things – baptism in the Holy Spirit, unity in the body of Christ and service to the poor – are the forms of witness that, by virtue of baptism, all of us are called to give for the evangelization of the world. An evangelization that is not proselytism but first and foremost witness: a witness of love. “See how they love one another”.
